Engaging Users Through the “Train for a Godly Life” Series
The core aim of the app is to help people engage more deeply with the “Train for a Godly Life” sermon series. Each month introduces a new theme, with weekly updates that include a Bible passage to read alongside a recording of the previous Sunday’s talk. This structure encourages consistent engagement and reflection beyond the Sunday service.
Users can create a personal account within the app, allowing them to track their progress throughout the year as they move through the series. This feature helps build a sense of commitment and participation, turning the sermon series into an interactive spiritual journey rather than simply a weekly message.
The app was designed specifically to support the St Js sermon series, giving users a simple way to access weekly content, listen to talks, and stay connected with the teaching programme throughout the year.
App Design & Development
Rob Doble Design created this custom web app using Squarespace and the Progressier platform to deliver a seamless, app-like experience across mobile and desktop. The project focused on building an accessible and engaging digital tool that supports church teaching and ongoing spiritual growth. By combining the design flexibility of Squarespace with the Progressive Web App capabilities of Progressier, the platform functions like a mobile app while remaining easy to update and manage.
