Matthew and Edwina Lonsdale of Mundy Cruising began a small school project designed to spark students’ interest in travel — particularly the world of cruising.
What started as a modest initiative quickly gathered momentum. With enthusiastic support from cruise lines and increasing participation from schools, the project expanded both in scale and ambition. As it evolved, the organisation was repositioned as Cruise Career Springboard — a not-for-profit dedicated to educating young people about career opportunities within the cruise industry, helping them understand the pathways available, and supporting them in taking their first steps towards employment at sea.
They asked us to create a logo that reflected this sense of opportunity and optimism: something fun, playful and simple that would resonate with students while remaining versatile enough to sit comfortably alongside the branding of major cruise lines.
The resulting identity is designed to work across a wide range of applications — from the organisation’s own promotional materials to brochures and communications produced by cruise partners.
